Precast prestressed foundation construction
Foundation beams transmit the load of the constructions above to footings or piles. When prefabricated foundation beams are supplied alongside the precast concrete foundation piles for a project, the result is a ‘total concept’. The great advantage of working in this way, which is most common in house building, is that is accelerates execution, and helps shorten the construction period. The key role our company is able to play in the entire foundation process will allow you to concentrate on the later construction phases.

The beams are reinforced and have vertical openings at the locations of the piles and the toothed beam bearings. The beams are anchored by positioning the vertical openings over the reinforcement that protrudes from the piles or underlying bearing support. After assembly the openings are filled with mortar, which fixes the bearing and forms the anchorage. |
A recent project executed by our company in this way was the provision of foundations for 125 homes in the Homerus district of Almere (see the picture below).
