TBI Bouwgroep takes over Voorbij Groep of Wilnis
Zaterdag, 07 Oktober 1995 back to overview
Gerda Voorbij can now enjoy a well-earned rest after selling her company Klaverblad Holding to TBI Bouwgroep. The most important part of the holding company is Voorbij Groep, which is to operate as an independent unit within TBI.
It is something of a coincidence that two good foundation companies have been taken over within a week. Heijmans managed to take control of Geka, which belonged to Janssen en De Jong before the management buyout, and TBI has taken over Voorbij. Voorbij Funderingstechniek is involved in pile driving work for the postal sorting centre in Nieuwegein.
Other parts of the Wilnis-based group work on precast prestressed concrete production and contracts for complete concrete constructions. A TBI press release says that the company employs 250 people, and has a revenue of NLG 100 million.
