Paepe Group of Belgium awards HSP installation contract

This month Voorbij Funderingstechniek was awarded a contract by project developer De Paepe Group of Belgium. The contract is for the supply and installation of Voton HSP piles for a distribution centre and warehouse floor foundation for ‘Maritime Logistics MLB’ of Bornem, Belgium.

The premises are on a site of approximately 12 hectares at Oude Sluisweg along the Brussels-Scheldt Maritime Canal in Bornem and Puurs. The site was bought by the American company FirstCal Industrial Europe from De Paepe Group and the Willy Naessens construction group, which in turn acquired it from the canal operator. The distribution centre will be renamed ‘First Park Maritime Logistics’.

Voorbij Funderingstechniek expects HSP work to start in November.
